“21 Jump Street” has great comedy, lackluster action

The undercover cop movie gets a remix in directors Phil Lord’s and Chris Miller’s buddy comedy, 21 Jump Street, a remake of the 1980s television series of the same name. Starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, two of the hottest names in the movies right now, 21 Jump Street combines sarcasm, meta-humor, drama, and gunfights with mostly satisfying results.
