I remember the time I parked and got out of my car to grab something out of the trunk . . and no I am not making this up . . when I closed the trunk there was already a ticket on my windshield and I could not find the person who left it.
Just a few short years ago we were complaining about how many homes were on the market and how slowly they sold. Absorption rates were in the double digits.
Here at last an off leash dog park. Located under the Smith Avenue high bridge on land that belongs to Xcel Energy and was part of the high bridge plant. The park is not on the river but in between Shepard Road and the Condos and apartments on the upper landing.
Lilydale Park is West of downtown St. Paul and on the other side of the river. There used to be houses in the little town of Lilydale which is right on the flood plane. The houses are long gone but you can see parts of foundations and old driveways in the woods. Some of the flowers in the gardens survived too.
It is Friday and Fridays are for fun. Tomorrow May 5, 2012 is not only cinco de mayo but we will have the biggest full moon of the year, a super moon which reminds me of last years super moon on March 16th. Continue Reading
