A baby boomer who never wholeheartedly embraced political activism, yet always was leaning to the progressive causes. Unwilling to relinquish his country to the authoritarian conservatism that has risen to power over the last thirty years, he is taking on a more public presence to promote positive and truthful discourse. Less attempting to persuade ideologues, he hopes to encourage reasonable people to join in denouncing the falsehoods and misleading statements of any group or individual. He has faith that collectively the world has more decent people then corrupt souls, but the honest must not remain uninvolved.So a misanthropic recluse is speaking out.

The slopes of Powerhorn Park came alive with color and chacter once again as the Art Sled Rally drew participants and spectators on January 28, 2012. The Art Sled Rally website has some photos up. Here is a selection of images I captured.
There is the chance that the sledding may be a little thin, but The Art Sled Rally says that the event will be held on this Saturday regardless or the weather. The art will go downhill beginning at 2 p.m. this Saturday January 28, 2012.

Saturday the 15th of Ocober was yet another spectacular fall day. An excellent day to take a bike ride and I knew where there would be a great event to hang out at for a few hours.
