The Wilder Foundation recently released its annual statewide study of homelessness. The study found that homelessness has increased by 6 per cent since 2009.
One of the many people working to end homelessness is Mikkel Beckmen. He is the Executive Director of St. Stephens Human Services in Minneapolis, and was just named as the new Director of the Office to End Homelessness and “Heading Home Hennepin”, a joint city-county effort intended to end homelessness by 2016.
