The tradition is established that In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre MayDay celebration of spring happens on the First Sunday in May. You might be aware of the heavy rain fall of last Saturday night and the threatening skies of Sunday. With those factors in mind, and standing water in parts of the Powderhorn Park, the decision was made to postpone the activities until May 13, 2012.
A disappointment to many, a relief to some, but an extended opportunity for all of us to join up next Sunday and party in the park and the surrounds for MayDay 2012. Here are some additional scenes of the building that goes on to bring MayDay to the public. Check out hobt.org for additional information, and opportunities and information on how you can be part of MayDay.
