October was a crazy gym membership month. Trying to balance my time between the Ivy and Corepower Yoga. I guess it’s a good problem to have when you just don’t know where to work out.
I’ve been going to Corepower since 2006 – off and on. It was much more affordable when I was a student. I just could not commit to maintaining my monthly membership there because it was only yoga and I couldn’t do any cardio when sometimes that is what I need. Especially in the winter, when I do need to be indoors for the elliptical or the treadmill.
Sometime over the summer, Groupon had a deal for Corepower…$50 for a one-month membership and that is when I rekindled my relationship with yoga. One month of hopping around the St. Louis Park, Minneapolis, Uptown and Minnetonka studios. How I miss that rotation so.
Now that my membership is over, I miss:
1) Browsing through all the yoga clothes before every class
2) Reading all the CPY updates
3) The zen-ness of all their yoga studios
4) My favorite CPY instructors
5) My more toned arms….chaturanga does a lot for them – now I know!
I’ll have to figure out how to incorporate C2 back into my life. For now, the Ivy has great yoga classes over lunch.
