Someone needs to take a careful look at the constant turnover in leadership for our school districts. Superintendents and principals move around so quickly all the other staff do is respond to each new leader’s priorities – they don’t get a chance to dig in and stabilize teaching. Maybe contracts for superintendents need to have penalties for leaving before 5 years – something needs to happen.
As for Meria Carstarphen,I don’t know of a single proponent of yours in this city; I really hope you get the job.
