Another busy and colorful weekend is upon us! Beyond the State Fair, other big events in the Twin Cities include celebrations to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington with rallies, speeches, jazz performances, and more. Also, LoLa (the League of Longfellow artists), will hold the fifth annual Lola Art Crawl, advertised as “the biggest little neighborhood art crawl in Minnesota!” See below for links and Storify with more info about the events:

- “Dark to Dawn: A Bicycling Journey” in Minneapolis commemorates the March on Washington with a bike journey from Saturday night to Sunday morning
- LoLa Art Crawl features artworks from over 150 artists from the greater Longfellow neighborhood of south Minneapolis Saturday and Sunday
