Pass along the stuff you don’t want anymore during the 9th Annual Standish, Ericsson & Corcoran Neighborhood Garage Sale on Saturday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. One woman’s junk is another’s treasure, right? The deadline for registering for the neighborhood garage sale is Friday, June 3.
Registration ensures that your sale is publicized in the Star Tribune, Craig’s List and the Sales Guide/Map distributed throughout the area.
To be added to the list of sales and to the map, call the SENA office at 721-1601 by Friday, June 3. They’ll need your address and the type of merchandise being sold at your sale.
“Start spring-cleaning now for the largest neighborhood garage sale in Minneapolis!” urged SENA staff member Bob Kambeitz. “Last year’s event involved over 175 households, and brought approximately $40,000 into the neighborhood and recycled thousands of items.”
The Neighborhood Garage Sale will be held rain or shine.
A map and guide to all of the sales will be available from 8:45-3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, the day of the sale, at these locations:
• Angry Catfish Bicycle and Coffee Bar, 4208 28th Ave S
• Midtown Farmers’ Market, E. Lake St. & 22nd Ave S (until 1:00 pm)
• Caribou Coffee, 4745 Cedar Ave S
• Holiday Station Store, 3550 Cedar Ave S
