Just when you think spring will never come, gardening groups and farmers markets start up, and perhaps give us hope to think that we may have finally seen the last snow flakes for the season.  Starting this weekend, here’s a list of farmers market openings, seed giveaways and more to start the season.

Local Food Resource Hubs

Gardening Matters started these hubs to help people grow their own food.  Members receive seeds, seedlings, inexpensive classes, discounts on gardening materials etc.  The cost of membership is $10 per household. Community Gardens may become members for $30.
