TUESDAY PICK | Satan goes to school at Clubhouse Jäger

Print

Though they never exactly went away, Clubhouse Jäger’s Sci-Fi Tuesdays have recently been infused with new life and purpose—at the very least, there’s once again a public schedule of upcoming films for the weekly events that start with Rob Callahan’s pub trivia at 8 p.m. and continue with screenings of cult-classic sci-fi films. Slated for June 8 is Satan’s School for Girls, a justly unsung flick brought to you by Aaron Spelling and his producing partner Leonard Goldberg in 1973. The plot concerns a shocking suicide, which may or may not have actually been a suicide given that the victim was a student at the Salem Academy for Women. On this grading curve, 66.6% definitely counts as a B.
