The Summit Hill Association Pedestrian Safety and Traffic Calming Committee will be holding a public meeting to discuss transit connections to the Central Corridor Light Rail line through the Summit Hill neighborhood. The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, at the Linwood Community Center.
This meeting is an opportunity to discuss the current plans for connecting neighborhoods like Summit Hill with the Central Corridor line, and to discuss the needs and concerns of residents as this project moves forward. Representatives from Metro Transit will join us to provide an update on the project and answer any questions.
The Pedestrian Safety and Traffic Calming Committee received some excellent feedback from our recent survey regarding transit connections to the Central Corridor line. Thank you to our neighbors who shared their thoughtful suggestions and concerns. If you haven’t had a chance to complete the survey, it’s still available athttp://tinyurl.com/shacclrt. At the public meeting, the Committee will present summaries of the data collected from the survey, and you can look for a full summary in an upcoming issue of the newsletter.
If you’re not able to make it to this meeting, but are interested in the impact of the Central Corridor line on the neighborhood, or any other pedestrian or traffic issues, the Committee meets the third Tuesday of every month, at 7:00 p.m. in the Linwood Community Center Senior Lounge. Please feel free to join us!
