Playing tourist

It is Friday and Fridays are for fun. It has been a short week but it has been a long week . . if you know what I mean.

Last weekend which seems like a month ago my husband and I decided to play tourist.  We went to the sculpture park in Franconia MN, which is just North of the Twin Cities.   Here are some of the sites we saw:

“Gar”, “Lamphrey”, “Mud Puppy” and “Catfish” – Robert Ressle

“Pinkerton String Theory” – Peter Kiely

“Reclamation” – Melanie Van Houten

Stop by the sculpture park some time just for fun.  It is much better than the worlds largest ball of twine located in Darwin Minnesota, but probably not as cool as the Spam museum in Austin Minnesota.
