Fall program registration has already begun and programs began in September after Labor Day. Corcoran is expanding its after school programming for school age children. Some of the upcoming programs include:

Girl Time: Girls (ages 6-12) will have the chance to learn new skills, belong to a group, make positive connections to peers, feel good and believe in their ability to create a positive future for themselves, and have some girl time fun. Meets every other Thursday, 4:30-6pm.

Monday Mania: (Ages 6-12) It’s the first day of the school week, but what better way to end your day than here at Corcoran Park, come and join us for a Monday adventure. We will have an afternoon snack, make creative crafts, and play recreational games. Don’t miss out on the fun. Meets Mondays, 4-6:30pm.

Wild Out Wednesdays: (Ages 6-12) It’s Hump Day. Let’s have some fun! We will be spending our time preparing for our end of the season talent contest. Each person can dance, sing, rap, recite a poem, or just plain get wild out and bring a talent we have never seen. We will provide an afternoon snack. Meets Wednesdays, 4-6:30pm.

Corcoran Dinner Theatre: (Ages 5-12) Corcoran staff will be cooking up an easy kid-friendly meal for the kids while they watch an animated Disney/Pixar movie in our dinner theatre-style lounge. Movies and meals are free, but pre-registration is required. Meets every other Thursday, 5:30-7:30pm.

These are just a sample of the 30+ programs Corcoran is offering this fall. For a full list of our programs please visit the building or the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board (MPRB) web site at www.minneapolisparks.org
