In its continuing effort to find ways to support local businesses and strengthen our neighborhood economies, the Northeast Neighbors & Business Association has just launched a new website, Local Biz Bucks(tm) – online coupons from neighborhood businesses, free for residents to print and use.
Combined with our main website, the Local Biz Bucks website furthers our mission to:
–Support local businesses with affordable, low-cost marketing options
–Help to strengthen our neighborhood economies by offering *shop local* incentives to residents
–Make residents aware of great local businesses in their neighborhood that may not be able to afford to advertise in other local and mainstream media
Free Speech Zone
The Free Speech Zone offers a space for contributions from readers, without editing by the TC Daily Planet. This is an open forum for articles that otherwise might not find a place for publication, including news articles, opinion columns, announcements and even a few press releases.
The NENBA knows that most local and mainstream advertising costs are simply out of reach for many small businesses. And, even though they may have an excellent product or service to offer, without affordable marketing and advertising options many small businesses will flounder or go out of business.
The detrimental impact of business failures has far-reaching consequences for our neighborhoods and our local economy. The NENBA is working hard to offer resources and provide affordable advertising options for any local business.
Thanks for your support of local businesses!
