One of the joys of living in Northeast Minneapolis is the annual Windom Park Carnival. This year it’s Friday June 1, 5:00-8:00 PM at Windom Park, 2251 Hayes, at the corner of Johnson and Lowry. In case of rain, the Carnival will move to Pillsbury School across the street.
The Carnival, one of the largest neighborhood carnivals in the city, features something for everyone—great local food, countless games, music from around the globe, ethnic dance, more food and a chance to meet and greet the good people of Windom Park.
The Carnival is sponsored by Windom Park Citizens in Action (WPCiA), Pillsbury School and Windom Park.
Volunteers for planning or on site at the Carnival are encouraged to contact WPCiA at 612 788 2192.
