Northeasters who haven’t quite recovered from the infamous rain-out of the 2011 Parade should start practicing their high stepping androyal waves. The 2012 Northeast Parade is a go!

The famous Northeast Parade will be Tuesday, June 19 – step off at 6:30 p.m. with the parade planned to last until 9:00 p.m. (don’t plan on that….)

Now in its 83rd year, the grand Northeast Parade draws 8,000 enthusiastic Northeasters, friends, families and former residents. The Parade struts along the route on Central from 27th Avenue to 14th Avenue Northeast.

Applications for participation – marching bands, prospective royalty, food vendors, sponsors, volunteers and more — are underway right now. Contact the  Northeast Chamber of Commerce for more information or to apply for participation.
