Is this place the last remaining high end restaurant of the original Block E?
My two beloved co-workers took me to Cosmos Restaurant for my farewell lunch here. Our waiter was attentive, the food was inventive and well presented, and it was quick to get the bill. How much better can they be? I’ve been served by our waiter at least three times, and he’s so funny, always implementing his sales skills. “Appetizer ladies? Or sparkling water? Or dessert? Or wine perhaps? Or coffee?” Sometimes, this comes off annoying, but that day I brushed it off to the fact that he was just doing his job.
Remember, they validate parking if you drive here for your meal. The best part is that Cosmos is connected by the skyway if you work downtown and you are lucky enough to be part of this 5 mile system.
They’re on opentable.com and it was pretty quiet for our weekday lunch. If you’re going to have an argument with a significant other over lunch…this would be the place to go that day. No one to stare at you while you’re having a heated discussion. Not that I scout out places for that particular purpose. I’m just saying.
