Windom Park Citizens in Action (WPCiA)  meets Tuesday, March 20, 7:00 p.m. at the park addition, Pillsbury School, 2251 Hayes, NE.

Don’t miss your last chance to weigh in and give feedback on our Neighborhood Action Plan! The major business of the meeting is final vote on the Phase II Neighborhood Revitalization Plan showing how WPCiA will spend the main funding source of $563,000.  There is a copy on the WPCiA website or contact the office to have a copy e-mailed to you. Residents may pick up a paper copy of the proposed plan at the WPCiA office during office hours (Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2-5 p.m

Other items the agenda include these:

  • Discussion of crime — uptick in neighborhood break-ins?
  • Meet the new owner of the tobacco shop at Stinson Marketplace.
  • Median proposal for Lowry Avenue at Polk Street
  • Bicycle project updates.
  • Low- and no-interest home fix-up loan programs.
  • Committee updates.
  • Extension of security rebate program.
  • Door-prize drawing and more.

Child care available.  All residents of the community are welcome to attend.
