It’s spring and gardeners are at the ready to learn how to “channel the inner farmer.” The Eastside Food Co-op offers a grand opportunity to do just that at this month’s Northeast Network gathering. It’s Thursday, May 10, 7:30-8:45 in the Granite Studio at the Co-op, 2551 Central Avenue Northeast.
“Market Gardening, Composting and Urban Chickens” is the ambiguous theme. Anna Cioffi of the Land Stewardship Project, market farmers from the California Street Farm, and Lynn Wellers, a local resident and urban chicken farmer will share their wisdom and experience.
It’s free and open. Complimentary coffee and muffins. All welcome – no reservations required.
