Legendary funkster George Clinton and a large contingent of “all-stars” from the Parliament/Funkadelic collective took the stage at First Avenue on Monday night for a show that the crowd clearly enjoyed, despite the fact that many of them seemed not to recognize Clinton without his trademark supersize hair. (Chants of “We want George!” were repeatedly heard, though Clinton was onstage for almost the entire show.)
