The most beautiful Blue River Nile Falls

We are surrounded by many different beautiful things, even though in our world there are contrast or ugliness for the beautiful things. People may have their different views for their choice of their most beautiful things. I think the most beautiful thing for me is the Blue Nile waterfall, which is located in the northern part of Ethiopia. When I visited this place a few times I was amazed by the view of the waterfall itself and the landscape around the river.

The Blue Nile waterfall is located in the Gogam province. It is also called by the local name “TIS-ABAY.” “TIS” means Smoke, and “ABAY” means Nile. The beautiful part of this waterfall is the panoramic view of its surrounding area. When the water falls down from the highest part of the land, the mist looks like cotton floating on the air. This is result of a strong hit of the waterfalls at the bottom of the fall. You feel some fresh tiny droplets of water and see a rainbow right on the center of the falls. This makes me recognize one of the most beautiful things nature gave me.

The beautiful surrounding landscape of the Blue Nile river is also one part of the falls. They are directly affected from the water and moist environment, which help to grow very beautiful trees, plants and flowers. For instance a “Warka tree” is abundant in that area. It is a very big tree, makes a big shade, and it is even very comfortable to sit or lay down under. So the area around the river gives beauty to the falls view.

So far my favorite and most beautiful place is this Blue Nile river fall. I remember I had the opportunity to see this place many times, because it is located in my home town. it was my first preference to show new visitors because of the amazing water fall and the surrounding land.
