What’s your job?
“What’s not my job? I write for City Pages and METRO, act in plays, do commercials and voiceover work, and work 32 hours a week at the U of M as an admin assistant. Because none of the fun stuff comes with health insurance.”
Other than your job, what are your claims to fame?
“That’s not enough? What do you want from me?”
What’s your relationship status?
“I live with my sister and my cats. Spinster in the making.”
Where are you most likely to be seen?
“The Triple Rock—in a booth with my face in a bucket of vegan buffalo wings, not in the hip music area—various theater lobbies and dressing rooms, restaurants I can’t afford, 331 Club, Psycho Suzi’s, Donnie Dirk’s Zombie Den, El Taco Riendo, the East Side Food Co-op, my friend Dawn’s houseboat.”
Where are you least likely to be seen?
“Drink, Fogo de Chao, the Guthrie, Mall of America, fast food drive-through lanes.”
With whom are you most likely to be seen?
“Dawn Brodey, Debbie Tallen, Anna Sundberg, my aforementioned sister, or whomever I’m currently working on a show with.”
Where were you born?
“Right here don’t ya know, ya sure you betcha.”
In what neighborhood do you live now?
“Border of Columbia Heights and Northeast Minneapolis. Best of both worlds: Anoka County property taxes, Nordeast eats and nightlife.”
What’s your ride?
“Mostly car, although the bike comes out to play in the summer.”
What’s the best way for someone to start a conversation with you?
“It’s usually safe to start with ‘hi’ and let nature take its course.”
