The artists heading up this section of the 2011 MayDay Parade express that “Our world is a noisy place, filled with sounds and voices”. With that they gather together a multitude of imagery and symbols. They are also the section that should see the majority of the stroller aged paraders, and their slightly elder siblings. Originally titled the Bunny Battalion this segment is now referred to as the Radical Acceptance Rabbits. Either way this means fun! Which little person you know doesn’t look good with rabbit ears.
Be wary little rabbits, and listen up! With luck you have caring older people that share their poetry, they share their knowledge. Be sensitive, and know there are many just as you, and feel as you feel. Come and share the poetry of life in spring at the MayDay workshops, until April 28. Many ways exist for you to help make MayDay; HOBT.org for more information.
This section combines the whole of the Universe, in Union

We all exist under the Sun. We are all welcome at the Sun Table. Especially welcome will be talented stilt walkers to stroll around the sun table as the parade progresses.
We are all poems, interconnected and making noise together. Like the seeds flourishing under the sun, we sprout and make the voyage. Adult paraders can help carry the Seed Arks. Bring those old sound making toys to form a connected human controlled sound pool, suspended like a mobil.
The wish list supplied me from the Universe of Union;
- battery powered children’s toys that make sounds (toy keyboards, etc)
- battery powered AM radios
- black long sleeved shirts (preferably turtle necks)
- colored and transparent plastic. Preferable soft, like a beach ball.
- talented stilt walkers
- people to carry the seed arks
- single ply cardboard
