Last Tuesday at the Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) Board of Education meeting, it was SO GOOD to see SO MANY families, parents, teachers, staff, principals, students, elected official, community leaders, partners, and neighbors.

Be sure to mark your calendar for the next two School Board meetings that will take place outside the regular 2nd Tuesday of the month schedule:
#1 Board of Education Retreat
Tuesday, October 28th (open to the public)

#2 Regular Board of Education Meeting

6:00 p.m. Board of Education Regular Meeting
*In observance of Veteran’s Day, which is Tuesday, Nov. 11, the November Board of Education meeting has been rescheduled one day earlier.
Tentative topics: Superintendent Bernadeia Johnson confirmed that the November board meeting would include the presentation from the Office of Black Male Achievement.
