March 9th – 10th: Longfellow’s weekend events

This weekend’s events calendar was packed, and we couldn’t fit it all here. Check out our complete calendar for more events and listings, including gigs at Riverview Cafe, Harriet Brewing, and the Hex.

  • If you’re like us, you’ve got more than a few art projects half done. Check out a workshop at the library where you will learn how to create the time to pursue your art and reach your goals as an artist.
  • Broken toaster? Torn piece of clothing? Cell phone acting screwy? The Hack Factory is inviting you to bring your broken item to the Factory for help with possibly fixing it. Pro tip: Stop by after noon when the rush is over.
  • At Harriet Brewing the music starts early and ends late with acoustic group Lost Marbles, a local band that’s been playing folk rock for ten years. Check out the listing on the calendar for the full line up.

  • Learn the nuances of the tea ceremony during a workshop held at Northern Clay Center (people 55 and older).
  • Keeping it local and classical at Hymie’s in-store performance this week with the Degenerate Music Club. Hear works by Ligeti, Feldman, and Xenakis.
