NEIGHBORHOOD NOTES | Mac Groveland Election and Annual Meeting – April 14

 The Macalester-Groveland Community Council is having their Annual Neighborhood Gathering and Board Elections on Thursday, April 14 from 6:30-8:30 pm. The meeting takes place at the Smail Gallery at Macalester College. All Mac Groveland residents are welcome.

The purpose of the meeting is twofold. First, attendees will discuss issues that neighbors have found important, such as transportion and crime prevention. Second, there will be an election for half of the Community Council’s Board of Directors, which includes all odd-numbered grid representatives, two at-large residential representatives, a representative of area businesses and This year there are also two mid-term positions that are up for election: the Grid 16 representative and a second at-large business representative.
