Each year the students at the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center in the Como Park neighborhood of Saint Paul put on a Halloween party for kids in the neighborhood and their parents.
This year’s Halloween Party will be held from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m., October 31st in the HHH recreation center at 1480 N. Snelling Ave. It’s free, with prizes, games and candy in a gentle haunting atmosphere with non-scary areas and a Haunted Corner for the bravest. “We want to be good neighbors and this is a chance for kids and their parents to have some fun on the center,” says Lovelle Miller, Program Coordinator for the Student Government Association (SGA), sponsor of the event.
