OK, maybe get angry, too, but keep a sense of humor. I think we all need to be talking, in a civil manner, with those we know who may vote on the Republican side of the ballot.
The Republican party is certainly trying to create a wedge issue that they perceive will benefit them. They want to play on the irrational fear some in our society have of our brothers’ and sisters’ sexual preferences. Why someone else’s personal life bothers them is beyond me, but we might be able to persuade them that this is all about equality. If someone is willing to treat other people with injustice, you may be wasting your breath. Hopefully, that gets you to work with more vigor to stop the injustice.
I enjoyed the march, as it was a wonderful spring day complete with threatening weather. I dug the t-shirt I spotted as I was editing these photos. I got a little bit wet, but basked in the warmth of caring individuals, with some witty signs, and a good cause.
The march began at the library in Uptown.

We love our gay son.

Music, speeches, and weather sirens at the end of the march.
