The 7th Annual Northeast Community and Schools BBQ was held outside Edison High School on Thursday, August 22. The event is a collaboration between several Northeast Minneapolis neighborhood groups, businesses, and the Minneapolis Public Schools in Northeast to give community members and parents an opportunity to get together on one of the last days before the school year starts.
This video looks at the event and features the voices of many of the volunteers, school principals, school board members and officials, and business representatives who organized and volunteered for the event.
