Do you need some ideas or motivation to organize a block club, or to keep neighbors connected?
Attend a free BBQ at Corcoran Park (3334 20th Ave S) on Wednesday, July 16 from 6-8p.m. to learn how to plan a block event, share your block club ideas, and enjoy a meal with neighbors. Find out what other blocks do to stay connected. Get crime prevention tools from Crime Prevention Specialist Karen Notsch. Network with other block leaders, CNO staff, and CNO board members.
Meat and veggie burgers, beverages, and a hot grill will be provided. Have a burger or bring something to grill! Everyone is welcomed. Whether you’re a pro at block club organizing or if you’ve never tried it before, join us any time between 6:00 and 8:00. In case of rain, the event will take place inside the park building.
Free childcare provided. This event is the July Membership Meeting of the Corcoran Neighborhood Organization.
