Minnetonka’s Jackie Stevenson passed away early Sunday. She was again in charge of handling former Senate District 43’s spring plant sale fundraiser. Most every active Democrat in the metro area had heard of, or been at a meeting, a convention or a lit drop with Jackie Stevenson. The air-guitar, folk rock trio, the Junk Yard Democrats undermine any sanctimonious pretense that their southwest suburban neighbors may clutch to their Republican cores during the local political convention season. Norb, Doug and Tommy don’t seem to fit, but in fact each one ’em has lived in Eden Prairie for at least four decades. This video was shown at the DFL Senate District 48 Convention in Eden Prairie on Saturday March 24. The JYDs react to Eric Paulsen and Right Wing World television.
