Kellogg Boulevard is reserved for use by buses delivering and retrievingdelegates to the convention. It is bisected by concrete barriers, chain link fence, and barb wire. Drivers who go down the rght side of the road are shunted onto 35E unless they turn right onto College Avenue or Mulberry Street. Pedestrians cannot get through and are shunted onto a promenade along 35E. Continue Reading
During early afternoon, while many people were still making their way to the State Capitol for the scheduled march, a group of about twenty-five demonstrators, proclaiming “We’re Queer, We’re Here” tried to march down Kellogg Boulevard towards the Xcel Energy Center, site of the Republican National Convention.
