All life is twined together. A Tree of Life.
The celebrants of the MayDay Parade and Ceremony are fixing their ideas and concepts with tape, paper, and paste.

The first Section Ecstatic Origins covers all of life, and there is an abundant assortment of vibrant life at MayDay Festivals. Along the Parade route, the MayDay Tabloid will be dispersed. Here is a link to a synopsis of the theme on the website.

In the MayDay Tabloid the year’s theme is presented. The descriptions and story will aid in interrupting the parading sections. Some of the paraders are just having fun, while some are passionate for a cause, some just want to preform. In The Heart Of the Beast puppet and mask Theatre (HOBT.org) manages and directs, hundreds of paraders, Ceremony actors and musicians, and many essential volunteers, in a Community Movement. Starting at 25th and Bloomington Avenue South, the creations of floats, costumes, masks, puppets, and props progress South along Bloomington.
Each section acts, sings, dances and performs the tale their section tells of the year’s theme. You get to wear capes!

Always the fist Sunday in May — MayDay (realists like to know the next Sunday is the rain date)
The MayDay Parade starts at Noon, proceeds south along Bloomington Avenue to Powderhorn Park. Parade route and Festival maps at HOBT.org
Water provided free, cups if necessary, no bottle-water will be available. MayDay will try to be Zero-Waste. Multiple stages provide varied entertainment throughout the day at Powderhorn Park. Food vendors, issue tables, musicians all around.
Powderhorn Park is in a residential neighborhood, so biking is an excellent idea, and it is only five blocks south of the Midtown Exchange on the GreenWay.
—did I mention people watching?, many are adorned or costumed, and a world of make-believe walls and spirits

There still is time to participate, you might be one to hold a WALL panel in the pageant. Attend, Support MayDay
