Tickets are now on sale for the Daily Planet’s Sausage Fest Wednesday, May 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Summit Brewing Company, 950 Montreal Circle, St. Paul. We’re still finalizing the details, but we will have a lot of great sausage makers on hand including Bryant Lake Bowl, Clancey’s Meats, Natedogs, Prairie Dogs, Red Table Meat Company, Sample Room, the and the Seward Co-op, all serving up samplings of their sausages and charcuterie. We’ll also have veggie brats and tofu pups, plus root beer and Dan Brady’s legendary chocolate chip cookies. You can wash it all down with a fine assortment of Summit beers, for a mere $2 a pint.
We’ll also be celebrating the Daily Planet’s ninth birthday, and the start of our annual spring membership drive. So that makes this an especially good time to join or renew your Daily Planet membership – or just make a birthday gift to support our work. And here’s an added incentive: Sausage Fest tickets are $20 for Twin Cities Media Alliance members and their guests, $25 for non-members. If you have made a donation in any amount in the past year, you qualify as a member. If you are not a current member, you can join by making a membership donation of $10 or more, when you buy your tickets.
