Hope for good weather this weekend, as there’s a great line-up of outdoor activities in the neighborhood: a Neighborhood Sing-a-long in Corcoran Park, the Grand Opening of Milly’s Peace Garden, and of course, the Midtown Farmers Market.

FREE FOOD – The grill will be hot so bring something to cook or enjoy a free burger!
The event will be hosted and led by Minnesota Sings, an organization dedicated to building community through leading community sings in the Metro area. Minnesota Sings uses professional songleaders to encourage full participation – no auditions, ALL voices welcome.

Community Garden Grand Opening

Our Grand Opening will be Sunday, May 22, and hopefully there will be lots of planting going on! Because the garden soil is so poor, we need all the compost and composted manure we can get! So if you have any compost in your yard (or have friends with compost) and are willing to donate it to the garden, please bring it on one of the work days. Questions? The formal meeting will run from 6:30 to 7:30 with an agenda set ahead of the meeting. The formal meeting ends here and no one need stay. At 7:30 will be cookies, tea, and less formal discussion. This is a great time to invite new members to attend. Or brainstorm projects. This is a great time to discuss projects you might be doing outside Corcoran.
