A second-grade student at Tuttle admitted to trying to poison his teacher on Monday by putting pills into her water bottle. The teacher noticed the pills and did not drink the water.

The student has been suspended for five days, and the school may issue a further punishment, such as expulsion. Although the Minneapolis police were called to investigate, the child is under 10 years old, and thus too young to be charged with a crime.
