After several visits and design edits to the original plan, the project finally received a narrow recommendation by the Lowry Hill East Neighborhood Association (LHENA) Zoning & Planning Committee on March 14 on a vote of 4 to 3 in favor. Although the project’s endorsement by the LHENA Board of Directors is considered very positive, it is not necessarily a requirement for city approval. In a final vote on March 21, to endorse the Z&P’s recommendation, the LHENA Board of Directors voted 2 for approval, 4 against and 2 abstensions. If the project is to continue in its current design to the city for approval, it will have to do so without the endorsement of the LHENA Board.
