Despite a few difficult weeks of weather early in the market season, things are starting to warm up at the Midtown Farmers Market! Come out to the market this June to see what our wonderful vendors have to offer including: asparagus, spinach, kale, lettuces, green onions, radishes, peas, sprouts, rhubarb, strawberries, a variety of meats, eggs, cheese, butter, yogurt, honey, artisan breads, baked goods, preserves, coffee, arts and crafts and a great variety of delicious foods for breakfast and lunch to enjoy at the market.

Also during the month of June be sure to come out for the Blood Drive on Saturday, June 1st that will be administered by Memorial Blood Centers, Minnesota’s largest independent, non-profit, community blood center. The drive will be from 8:30am-1:30pm and the first 25 presenting donors will receive a free T-shirt, while all participating donors will be entered into a drawing to win 1 of 20 pairs of Minnesota Twins tickets. Please come out and donate! The market will also host a couple of themed market days during June including Dirt Day on Saturday, June 15th and Bike Day on Saturday, June 29th. Dirt Day will include a number of great activities surrounding composting and soil health and we will have master gardeners and composters on hand to answer your gardening and composting questions. For Bike Day this year we will be offering safety check s from area bikes shops, tours of NiceRide MN stations, valet bike services and a chance to win a number of great prizes when you bring your helmet to the market info booth in order to enter the drawing. Join us for all the market will have to offer this June, we hope to see you there!

The Midtown Farmers Market is located at the corner of East Lake Street and 22nd Avenue South and offers fresh, local foods every Saturday 8:00am-1:00pm from May-June and Tuesday from 3:00pm-7:00pm June-October.
