It’s that time again! The Summit Hill Association’s Spring Neighborhood-wide Garage Sale is set for Saturday, May 4th from 9 a.m. until mid-afternoon. Live green and recycle locally! Buying “used” saves money and helps the environment by recycling goods. Clean out your attic, basement or garage …and whatever you can’t sell, bring it to the SHA Annual Neighborhood Cleanup event two weeks later on Saturday, May 18, 2013, We must have 20 participants in order to hold this neighborhood-wide sale. GARAGE SALE PARTICIPATION FEE

The sale participation fee continues to be $15/sales location. You coordinate and staff your own garage sale and retain all proceeds. Join together with neighbors and/or make it a SHA Crime Prevention Block or Building Club social event!

Participating households will receive advance copies of the Sale Site Listings flyer, two bright yellow “Summit Hill Garage Sale” posters and metro-wide advertising in the Pioneer Press, the Minneapolis Star & Tribune, the Villager newspapers and on the SHA website. The very popular SHA Garage Sales flyers with sales “navigation” map will be available to the community at each sale site, at the Linwood Community Center and on-line on the SHA website.

To participate, complete the form below and send it with your check to the SHA office by Friday, April 26th.

PARTICIPANT INSTRUCTIONS

Plan to pick up your supply of flyers and posters at the SHA office after 12 NOON on Thursday, May 2nd. Official SHA Garage Sale flyers/ navigation map – that lists the locations of sales, highlighting sales’ items and multi-family sales -will be available online at summithillassociation.org, and at the information table outside the SHA office in the Linwood Community Center starting Thursday, May 2nd – as supplies last. Sales participants are asked to make SHA Garage Sale Site flyers prominently available to help promote all the SHA sales. For more information about the garage sale and/or neighborhood clean up, call SHA at 222-1222.

Again, to be included on the list of sales, you must return the form linked below with your $15 check by Friday, April 26th. Please make your check payable to the Summit Hill Association (SHA).
