NEIGHBORHOOD NOTES | Soccer – cure for kids’ summertime blues?

Has summer reached the “nothing to do….” phase at your house.  Tried soccer?  Minneapolis Parks and Rec, in collaboration with the Sanneh Foundation, is offering week-long soccer camps at eight Minneapolis parks.  The camps which are free run for a half-day with a different skill covered each day of the camp

The closest for Northeast kids starts August 8, 9:00-Noon at Northeast Park.  Other campus continue through August 12 at Currie, Fairview, Kenny, Kenwood, Matthews, Pearl and Sibley.   Register at the rec center.
