by Jeff Fecke • August 26, 2008 • I really don’t know what the media’s going to say about Hillary’s speech, but I hope this ends, once and for all, the myth that Hillary Clinton is secretly trying to subvert the Democratic party. She isn’t. She’s giving the best speech of the convention so far, and I don’t know how she could be more completely in support of Obama — though I’m sure someone will find some stray word that proves she isn’t. Moreover, she made the point that all nine people voting for McCain out of spite should know: John McCain is not in favor of equal pay for equal work. Well, technically he’s in favor of it — he’s just opposed to actually doing anything to make it happen.
John McCain is not a friend to women. Or men, for that matter. But the two usually go together.
