NEIGHBORHOOD NOTES | Polish-American Zuppa on November 6 in Northeast Minneapolis

Print

Though the 22nd Annual Soup Festival is not strictly in Windom Park you can be certain that WP residents will dip their ladle for their fair share of the zuppa at this year’s event sponsored by PACIM, the Polish American Cultural Institute of Minnesota.  It’s at John Paul II School, 1630 4th Street Northeast, in the Holy Cross Church complex on November 6 from 3-5:30 p.m.

The event includes a dozen soups, bread. Beverage and desert for just $12 for adults/$10 for PACIM members and $6 for children (“little ones free.”  Handicap parking and elevator entrance at the rear of the building between the church and the school.

Tickets may be obtained at www.pacim.org or at the door.  Any soup remaining at 5:30 will be sold.

Neighborhood Notes are updates about what’s happening in Twin Cities neighborhoods, submitted by our volunteer neighborhood correspondents (and neighborhood residents), and not edited by the TC Daily Planet. Click to learn more about becoming a neighborhood correspondent.
