Old electronics piling up? Be green and recycle this weekend

Technological progress is a good thing. Unfortunately, that progress leaves a lot of old TVs and gadgets in the trash. A lot of this “E-Waste” carries hazardous materials that shouldn’t be left to seep into the environment. That’s why this weekend, Waste Management has multiple sites across the Twin Cities area to accept items for electronic recycling.

1. Canterbury Park Racetrack — Use Barenscheer Entrance

2. Grace Church — Enter off of Spring Rd.

3. MN State Fair Grounds — Machinery Hill: Hoyt Entrance

4. National Sports Center — Enter from Davenport.
