New year-to-date data from Minneapolis Police Department shows reduction in reported robberies & assaults
Crime Prevention Specialist, Karen Notsch, with Minneapolis Police Department recently shared the above data representing crime in Corcoran neighborhood. The first six month period from last year compared with this year shows a general reduction in criminal activity.
In regards to bulgary, Notsch stated “the most effective way to prevent burglary is to check if your doors and windows are locked.” She also shared that there have been instances where window screens have been simply cut out by burglars in order to open unlocked windows from outside the home.
