I’m in Ireland this summer – but I just got word on Ristorante Luci changing its menu. Ristorante Luci has been on the edge of Mac Groveland and Highland Park for 23 years. We’ve celebrated anniversaries, graduations, birthdays and other fun news there for years.
Well it looks like Ristorante Luci is going casual. As of last week, they are offering a much more casual menu. The goal is no plate over $10. They are still using fresh ingredients and the chefs are even the same – but the food is lighter. I’m very excited to see that their Spaghetti Carbonara is on the menu. Their Carbonara is possible the best I have ever eaten. Then I also see that there’s a Risotto Shellfish – with saffron. So that’s going to make for a difficult decision – or maybe two great nights once I get home.
Luci Ancora, the younger sister of Ristorante Luci will continue to serve the food we’re known and loved for 20 years.
