NEIGHBORHOOD NOTES | New book explores stories of St. Anthony Village

Print

St. Anthony Village is definitely not on my beat, Windom Park, but you can see it from here.  And you can learn all about the unique history of SAV by reading Gail Olson’s newly-published book,  A Village in the City.  Gail was for many years a writer for The Northeaster, the area’s community newspaper.  The history of SAV was written with the support and collaboration of the St. Anthony Village Historical Society.  A Village in the City is available ($25) at St. Anthony City Hall, 33rd Avenue and Silver Lake Road.

Neighborhood Notes are updates about what’s happening in Twin Cities neighborhoods, submitted by our volunteer neighborhood correspondents (and neighborhood residents), and not edited by the TC Daily Planet. Click to learn more about becoming a neighborhood correspondent.
