Minnesota Food Share March Campaign

Mississippi Market Co-op and 14 other co-ops will work to replenish food shelves in Minnesota. Last year Mississippi Market raised $22,500 toward the effort. Mississippi Market’s Beneficiary Food Shelves include Keystone Community Services, SPACC- Department of Indian Work, Neighborhood House, and the Hallie Q. Brown Food Shelf. 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Town Hall Listening Session at Saint Paul College. The Town Hall will allow us to discuss important issues this legislative session including the Governor’s budget, health care legislation and education. Saint Paul College, 235 Marshall Avenue, Classroom 4310.

Saturday, March 17: 21st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Irish Ceili Dance

Dance starts at 7 p.m. – Doors open at 6:30. $10 at the Door; seniors, 62+ and children aged 6 and up are $5.00; children under 5 are free. Friday, March 22: Wellness Friday: Kairos Alive!

10:30-11:15 An Award Winning arts and learning program recently featured in the television documentary, Arts and the Mind, which aired on PBS, at the March Wellness Friday. KAIROS ALIVE! uses dance and storytelling to create a sense of community and well-being in participants of all ages and walks of life and is the only intergenerational modern dance company in Minnesota, and one of only a handful in the U.S Fee: No charge.
