Northeast neighbors will be lined up Saturday morning, April 2, to discover what’s new at the Northeast Library. It’s the grand opening of the library which has been closed for several months for renovation. Expect great things!
The program begins at 9:45 – plan to come early. Elected officials and other stakeholders will be on hand for the ribbon-cutting at 10:00 a.m.
Funding for the grand opening celebration is provided by the Friends of the Northeast Library and the Library Foundation of Hennepin County. Construction of the renovated facility is funded by Hennepin County and a City of Minneapolis Library referendum.
The event is free and open to the public. The Northeast Library is located at 2200 Central Avenue NE in Minneapolis.
