Sharon Ruibal-Boilig, Chair of Neighborhood HealthSource looks forward with energy and enthusiasm to the clinic’s forthcoming Gala: “The evening will be a great opportunity to support a worthy cause, enjoy wonderful entertainment and celebrate affordable community health care. The gala will mark our sixth year of showing Minneapolis and the Twin Cities Neighborhood HealthSource is committed to providing quality, affordable and accessible health care that enhances and strengthens our community.”
The theme for this year’s Gala and Fundraiser, “Affordable Health Care for All”, says it all! The Gala is Thursday, April 7, 5:30 – 9:30 at the Nicollet Island Pavilion.
The fund raiser for NHS will support purchase of equipment and provide health care an expanding population of neighbors who lack health insurance. NHS includes the Central, Sheridan and Fremont Clinics, all in North and Northeast Minneapolis. NHS has served residents of North and Northeast Minneapolis for more than forty years. The network of clinics offers same day appointments, interpreter services and a sliding fee scale. Last year NHS provided $2 million in free health service to those in need.
